Celebrating television's This Is Your Life
Patrick MOWER (1938-)
THIS IS YOUR LIFE - Patrick Mower, actor, was surprised by Eamonn Andrews at St Barnabas and St Philip's Primary School in London's Earls Court, having been led to believe he was there to be interviewed by Mick Robertson for the ITV children's programme Magpie, about how he helps out at the school, teaching football to the children.
Patrick developed an early interest in acting while attending St John's Boys Club in his home city of Oxford. After several years of working as an engineering draughtsman, he decided to become an actor and trained at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. He debuted professionally at London's Players' Theatre in 1963 and later joined the Birmingham Repertory Theatre Company.
Various television appearances during the 1960s led to his big break when he was cast in the ITV drama series Callan in 1970. In the early 1970s, he co-starred with George Sewell in the popular ITV police drama series Special Branch and appeared in several British films, including Black Beauty.

After watching This Is Your Life on Patrick Mower, I wondered if there was any way I could obtain a copy of the book with which he was presented?
