Thames's This Is Your Life is to return on November 18. The ratings success of the Thames presentation of the series prompted the show's creator, Ralph Edwards, to fly to London to visit Thames.
The show will return to American screens this autumn. Ralph Edwards who devised and presents the American version says, "The show has been off the air in the States for nine years. I have been encouraged by the success of Thames shows and feel they must be doing something right to get such tremendous ratings."
He visited Teddington studios to view ten programmes in the series selected for him by light entertainment controller Philip Jones and the series producer Robert Tyrrell.
