Celebrating television's This Is Your Life
These Were Your Lives
Eamonn Andrews introduced a review of the first series of This Is Your Life in a pre-recorded special edition.
Several 'guests of honour' or 'subjects' returned to the BBC Television Theatre for what Radio Times described as 'highlights and sidelights on the personalities and behind-the-scenes stories'.
Although the show was proving a hit with the public after only 15 editions, there was negative criticism from some quarters of the Press. The producers commissioned this special edition in an attempt to address these concerns and dispel any untruths.
