Big Red Book
Celebrating television's This Is Your Life
Series 36, which launched in the autumn schedules earlier than usual, closed with an edition that made This Is Your Life history when a world-famous singer and actress became the first and only subject to be honoured three times.
A television writer, producer and director who created several top-rated comedy shows and began his career directing early editions of This Is Your Life was honoured with a Christmas special.
The series subject list included five more second-timers - one honoured with a joint tribute with himself and his wife.
Recently retired producer Malcolm Morris published his memoirs entitled This is My Life. Malcolm steered This Is Your Life briefly during the early Thames Television days from 1971 to 1974 and later, and more significantly, through some challenging times between 1982 and 1996.
