THIS IS YOUR LIFE - Bob Carolgees, entertainer, was surprised by Michael Aspel during the curtain call of the pantomime Puss in Boots at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe, from where the programme was then recorded.

Bob, who ran a DJ and modelling school in Liverpool in the early 1970s, gained national fame in 1979 as a one of the presenters on ITV's Saturday morning children's television show Tiswas.

With his puppets, Charlie the monkey and Spit the dog, Bob made regular appearances on various televison shows throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including eight years alongside Cilla Black on ITV's Surprise Surprise.
