Queenie WATTS (1923-1980)
THIS IS YOUR LIFE - Queenie Watts, actress and singer, was surprised by Eamonn Andrews.
Queenie, who was born in the Isle of Dogs, London, ran two pubs in the East End with her husband, Slim, during the 1960s - the Iron Bridge Tavern on East India Dock Road and the Rose and Crown in Pennyfields.
She appeared in many British films, including Sparrers Can't Sing, Alfie, Half a Sixpence and Poor Cow. However, she was best known on television for the ITV sitcom Romany Jones, first screened in 1972.
