During the 1980s, she appeared on television in the film The Naked Civil Servant, the drama series Edward and Mrs Simpson and the sitcom Holding the Fort. However, she became best known for her role in the ITV drama series Rumple of the Bailey as Phyllida Erskine-Brown QC.
