Celebrating television's This Is Your Life
Linda LUSARDI (1958-)
THIS IS YOUR LIFE – Linda Lusardi, actress and former glamour model, was surprised by Michael Aspel at the curtain call of the pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Wimbledon Theatre, from where the programme was then recorded.
Linda, who was born in London, began modelling after being spotted at a bus stop. She first appeared as a Page 3 girl in The Sun newspaper in 1976, aged 18, and would appear in the newspaper for the next ten years. In 1987 she was voted Page 3 girl of the 1980s.
After her glamour career ended, Linda concentrated on acting. She appeared on television, in pantomime and in theatre throughout the 1990s, including an acclaimed appearance as Eliza Dolittle in Pygmalion at the Malvern Festival.
